17/6/2006 Happy Father's DayI don't get to celebrate with my Dad anymore.....
I really miss that. My Dad left this life 18 years ago. Too soon for me. He was a Constant in my life and when he was gone I felt lost. I think I still do at times. But I hold dear the time that I did have with him and thankfully most of my memories now are of healthier, better times!
This is my Father's Day thought for you Dad.....
When I was young, you helped me grow,
And taught me all I had to know Of love and trust and faith and hope, And everything it takes to cope. You may have thought I didn't hear, Or maybe that you weren't quite clear; But all the things you taught to me Were heeded very carefully, And now I want to thank you for Your love, your care, and so much more! ~~Author Unknown~~

 Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there. Don't ever think that the special bond that you have with your child will ever end. It may be put aside at times, but it's there, always!
I wish you a day full of happiness..... and remember to always be proud of your kids!
They are, after all, a great source of entertainment!
